20 Random Facts About Me #8

I've always enjoyed making these, and people have told me they enjoy reading them. Here are 20 more random facts about that weird kid who runs this blog.

1. My first "20 Random Facts About Me" piece was written four years ago.
2. I have consistently released exactly two blog articles a month for an entire year.
3. I occasionally volunteer at a local radio station.
4. Joss Whedon is my favorite screenwriter.
5. I've been watching far too many Joss Whedon projects as of late. (Yeah, right.)
6. For the time being, I have a ridiculous amount of free time in my life.
7. I once watched fourteen 43-minute television episodes in one day.
8. I'm double-jointed! (Such an exciting fact!)
9. I've finally started getting back into graphic novels.
10. My favorite instruments are piano and cello.
11. I now own over 60 physical soundtracks.
12. I now own over 300 digital soundtracks.
13. I own way too much music.
14. My favorite soundtrack composer is still Murray Gold.
15. My favorite video game soundtracks are Kid Icarus: Uprising and Nier.
16. Believe it or not, I do listen to music that's not from soundtracks. A lot, actually.
17. I kinda miss the days when people would leave comments on my blog.
18. I adore Cœur de pirate.
19. I'm typing this piece at 2:30 a.m. and I should probably go to bed.
20. I love my friends more than anything.

Once upon a time I started a blog series. Five times upon five other times, I added sequential entries to that series. This is the seventh entry. Here are another 20 facts that you may or may not have known about me.

1. I took Latin all four years of high school, but I still haven't completed Latin 4.
2. I used to absolutely hate the Halo game series.
3. Now, I very much enjoy the Halo game series.
4. My favorite YouTuber is PeanutButterGamer.
5. The only manga I have read all the way through is Fullmetal Alchemist.
6. Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the most incredible stories I have ever read or watched.
7. I'm not sure how noticeable it is, but I use the word "incredible" a lot.
8. I have recently acquired a rather strong appreciation of the cello.
9. My driver's permit expired well over a year ago.
10. As of late I've been watching a lot of superhero-oriented TV series.
11. I very much love the Legend of Zelda video game series.
12. My favorite animated movie (and film soundtrack) is How To Train Your Dragon.
13. My all-time favorite TV series is Stargate SG-1.
14. I used to review books.
15. The most money I have spent on a single soundtrack is $60.
16. I own a Latin translation of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.
17. I actually, genuinely like the Star Wars prequels.
18. I own a Wii U, and I am not ashamed of this fact.
19. I have used the same email address since I was 9 years old.
20. Reading my emails from 2005 is the most hilarious thing ever.

It's been over a year since I've done one of these. Some people like to read them, so I figured I'd do another one. 20 more facts that you may or may not have known about me.

1. I like water.
2. I don't really care for food.
3. I try to keep my middle name a secret (for no particular reason).
4. I may not go to college.
5. I watch too much YouTube.
6. I want to be a voice actor.
7. I am rubbish at voice acting.
8. I am rubbish at acting, period.
9. My dream job would be composing soundtracks.
10. My favorite soundtrack composer is Murray Gold.
11. I own almost 30 physical soundtracks.
12. I own almost 200 digital soundtracks.
13. I have been to the Grand Canyon.
14. The left and right sides of my brain are out of sync with each other.
15. I currently have no plans to obtain a driver's license.
16. My friends are sometimes just as weird as I am. (But only sometimes.)
17. I'm older now than I was in 2004.
18. I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming season of Doctor Who.
19. I frickin' graduated from high school.
20. My plans for world domination might be well under way.

So, it's that time again. Here are another 20 facts that you may or may not have known about me.

1. My favorite instrument is piano.
2. If I ever get pet chinchillas, I'm going to name them Zulf and Zia.
3. I love lemons and limes.
4. I honestly don't care for watching movies... very often.
5. I love animals, but I know so very little about them.
6. I've become hooked on Doctor Who, but I still reject the term "Whovian."
7. My brothers are extraordinarily smart.
8. In my experience, beef soup is better than chicken soup.
9. I have never worn a tie.
10. I can't decide whether big marshmallows or small marshmallows are better.
11. I hate the term "video game."
12. I hate sports... unless I'm playing them.
13. My favorite sport to play is Ultimate Frisbee.
14. I want to meet Steven Moffat someday.
15. I hate washing dishes, though that's hardly surprising.
16. I've recently gotten hooked on the manga Fullmetal Alchemist.
17. A lot of my older blog posts look terrible because of how much I've improved since.
18. I want to visit New Zealand someday.
19. I hate waking from a dream.
20. I don't care for bacon. Mwuahaha.

1. Some facts mentioned in the previous lists are no longer valid, considering how much time has passed.
2. I've been taking Latin for two years, and I don't plan to stop now.
3. It's cliché, but my favorite food is pizza.
4. I'd pick Star Wars over Star Trek any day.
5. I have some of the best friends in the world.
6. I hate fluorescent lights, but I love streetlights.
7. I've never owned a cell phone for more than a month.
8. I'm a Tolkien nerd.
9. I want to name my daughter Shadrika ("ruler of the shadows").
10. I've recently become hooked on graphic novels.
11. Despite popular opinion of the movie, I didn't like The Dark Knight.
12. One of my life goals is to someday attend E3.
13. I find dubstep annoying, for the most part.

16. I can play piano... but only sort of.

1. My father is a carpenter.
2. I have a passion for photography.
3. I prefer Windows over Mac.
4. My favorite contemporary TV series is Castle.
5. My oldest brother is a physics major.
6. I review media as a hobby (you probably didn't know this).
7. My favorite webcomics are "Brawl in the Family" and "Blank It."
8. I hate cleaning my room.

1. I am a very, very slow reader.
2. My favorite school subject is Geometry.
3. Right now I have no income whatsoever.
4. My dream is to become a full-time fiction writer.
5. My favorite author is Steven James.
6. I can't swim.
7. A New York Times bestselling author is naming a character after me.
8. The only words I can write in cursive are my first and last names.
9. My favorite candy is either Runts or candy corn.
10. I am not a psychopath. (No duh?)
11. The first true work of quality fiction I have ever read is Showdown by Ted Dekker.
12. I have a passion for 2D platformer video games, which are extremely underrated.

14. My favorite comedy TV series (the only one I actually like at all) is Hogan's Heroes.
15. If I ever have I son I will not name him Guy. (It's a real name.)
16. My favorite singer is Dennis Schunke of Van Canto.
17. I used to be a total Star Wars geek. Now I'm only sort of.
18. My favorite channel on YouTube is FreddieW.
19. I have never seen The Lion King.
20. I find people's reactions to the above fact so hilarious that I don't plan on seeing it anytime soon.

2. My life was changed over the course of August 12-13, 2011.
